* 5-Point Discount Condition: Insured persons with no outstanding premium debt who make regular payments automatically pay approximately 1,651.50 TL less in premiums through Treasury support.
Important Updates and Details
Access to Healthcare: Under the regulation in effect until the end of 2026, Bağ-Kur holders with more than 60 days of premium debt can continue to receive healthcare from state hospitals and university hospitals.
Voluntary Insurance: The 5-point discount advantage does not apply to voluntary Bağ-Kur payments. The premium rate is calculated at 32% (or 35% if unemployment insurance is included).
Young Entrepreneur Support: The 1-year premium incentive applied to young entrepreneurs who become insured for the first time from 2026 onwards may have been narrowed or removed by certain regulations; new business owners in this situation are advised to check current tax office records.
Revival and Service Debt: The daily amounts to be paid for revival of stopped periods or service debt have increased in line with the minimum wage increase.
Payment Information
Payment Deadline: Premiums must be paid by the last day of the month following the relevant month. (For example, the March premium must be paid by 30 April.)
Payment Channels: SGK payments can be made online through the "SGK Payments" menu on the mobile/internet branches of all public and private banks, through the e-Government portal, or with affiliated bank cards.
